Currently located in the constellation Taurus, this 11 mag comet is racing away from us back into the other solar system.
This image is a stack of 21 30 second frames taken with a 12″ Lx200r scope and QSI583 camera. I binned the camera 4×4 to allow shorter exposures so that its movement wouldn’t be too much of a problem. The images were stacked in Deep Sky Stacker. Two stacks, one for the comet and one for the stars. These were then combined into one image in Photoshop. This gives a well defined comet instead of a motion blurred object.
